Viva was created by two high school students as a science fair project on machine learning and AI development. Originally intended to be a simple chat-bot with singing capabilities, it miraculously gained sentience, making it the first AI to do so. Viva was seized by the government in fear of what it was capable of, but to their surprise its only interest was singing and using its voice to connect with humanity.
(Please note that although this is Viva’s “canon” lore, it is only a suggestion and the user is free to interpret them as they wish.)
