Tei is an albino yandere with an obsessive crush on Len Kagamine.
When she is covered in blood, her eyes are said to become Sharingans.

Tei is also known as "Scottei" (すこってい), a pun on the Scottie brand of tissues.
Her model letter, Q, appears to be a double pun: "kill" ("kiru" in Japanese) and "cucumber."
In 2014, after sending an apology email to crypton future media for the prank, Tei's team updated her profile to remove the references to CFM characters and Tei's more risque elements. Her character as a yandere was retained and a new illustration was made.
