Sen is described as a plain, science-based young man whose most defining features are his glasses and long white coat.

Although he grew up in the countryside, he did a complete turnaround and went to Tokyo to study engineering, so now he looks like he's from the city.
He grew up in a family of farmers, though he was never very interested in it himself. As such, he always carried around a laptop, which happened to be the only one in the area.
In the countryside, caloriemate bars are seen as a top quality food that everyone should eat, so Sen makes it a point to always carry one with him at all times.

He has a younger sister named Denka Yuu, and a friend named Nouka Ryou.

Miscellaneous Info:
- Sen is meant to personify the science side of the Iwate population, a prefecture in Tohoku.
- He loves synthesizers and rock.
- His eyes are purple, but they're intentionally not illustrated to allow for creative freedom.
- There was a freeware game featuring the VEGA characters called "Denka Sen's Sea Urchin Collecting Game." It is no longer available on his website.
- He's studying something in the field of computer science. He could be getting a high school, college, master or doctor's degree.
