Rook is a derivative of Ruko.

Ruko Yokune was decided to be voiced by a male and a female voicer, the two parts were given to Yuu Hikachi and Yuu Raichi.

The male voicer wasn't online for some time, so a user called Yuji completed a full CV voicebank recording of his own voice, in case Yuu Raichi couldn't complete the recording before the fishing date.

After Yuu Raichi recorded the voicebank and Ruko was released, Some users liked how Yuji's voicebank sounded and the effort he put in the voicebank, so a new thread was opened to reveal Rook as an UTAU character on Ruko's first anniversary.
