As of v2.1, it includes the following extras: Long vowels, English R, Trilled R, L samples, Glottal stops, English V, English TH, Japanese KW/GW, Spanish Ñ, Starting vowel breaths, End vowel breaths, Ending VCs, Standalone consonants and breath samples.
Add-on expressions are [SOFT], [HARD], [VIVID], [DARK], [WHISPER], [SWEET], [SHOUT], [SHOCK] and [GHOSTLY]. Not all expressions are currently updated to v2.x, but they remain fully compatible.

Buro's character is flexible to the end user, but is oficially portrayed as a cartoon comic relief, being said to "run on nothing but a faulty car bettery and the concept of silliness itself". They can't use touchscreens due to their hands being made of metal, so they are instead seen using a flip phone. They tend to type in 1337speak because they can't figure out how the T9 predictive text works. They have a guitar which has the aspect of a combination of certain guitar videogame controllers, which works as a synthesizer, doubles as a sledgehammer and triples as a shotgun.
They use any pronouns; officially referred with they. Buro is officially AroAce.
