As opposed to his 'wife', Gumo takes pride in being a demon and loves to cause mischief wherever he goes, although he is a lot tamer compared to how he used to be and this is because of Gen's influence. Despite teasing her a lot, he truly loves and cares for Gen and wants to give her nothing but the world, even if it means sacrificing some of his trouble making tendencies to make her smile.

He has a strange hatred of rabbits, saying that they look like mutated cats with weird teeth. Gumo is characterized as headstrong, without a 'filter' and sometimes a bit too cocky and intimidating, but he does have a more mellowed out side..He just doesn't like showing it too often.
