Nekusu's voicebank has gone through early development stages, starting with a standard CV voicebank. The voice is characterized by a soft and slightly airy tone, with a simple and clean recording style.

While the current version focuses on basic Japanese phonemes, there is potential for expansion into more advanced formats such as VCV or experimental multi-language support in the future.

Ongoing improvements aim to refine pronunciation clarity and overall sound quality, while maintaining Nekusu's unique and slightly quirky vocal identity.

In late April, nxewoaah decided to re-record Nekusu's voice and make it clearer with good oto, And now version 2.0 is available on her official website.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Nekusu has unkempt green hair with a large, upright ahoge, long twin tails that end in large drill shapes, and nose-length bang.

𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿: Pink.

𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗳𝗶𝘁: She wears a layered outfit consisting of a grey sleeveless blouse with a teal tie, exposing a small part of her midriff. Underneath, she wears a black top with mid-length sleeves that reach her elbows, featuring a pink "404". She also wears black detached sleeves with pink (left) and blue (right) trim, including an upward arrow. She wears a mini black skirt with teal trim along the hem. Her thigh-high black boots have blue top and pink bottom trim on the right leg (with a pink upward arrow on the knee), and reversed colors on the left leg (with a blue downward arrow on the knee).
