Previous affiliations and history.

The initial idea to develop MaxDesignPro inspired UTAUs came from sorara4a, along with ideas from UpTown-P. Both Max and Nugget themed UTAU concepts were made within the same day.

Originally, the plan for Max's voice was to contact the singer from the FNF mod, TwiddleFingers, but this changed when a new voicer, VoicingGuy, was found. VoicingGuy has also previously worked a notable FNF mod called "Friday Night Funkin' VS Annoying Orange: The Amazing Grace." Max's voicebank was also the first UTAU voicebank that VoicingGuy had ever voiced for.

The art for Seikkei Max was done by a popular fan-artist in the MDP fan community called gravyeater14.

Max's design is inspired by the YAMAHA Sonogenic SHS-500 Red handheld keyboard. This aligns with the premise that Crypton Future Media vocalists designs are inspired directly YAMAHA instruments.

The keyboard that Max's design is based on is labelled for beginners; "…allowing young music fans to play their favorite songs, regardless of their musical abilities…", This is a nod to the fact that Max's voicebank is relatively simple to use and that, according to his backstory, this was the first time he had created a voicebank using his own voice.

In terms of apparel, his initial concept sketch was more like Kasane Teto's base design.

his design is also inspired off of Hibiki Lui, a cancelled VOCALOID.

He is an original character made by UpTown-P.

Personality and bio.

Max is a (usually harmless) grifter who takes advantage of contemporary online trends, both for money or attention. In recent years, programs such as VOCALOID and UTAU have regained popularity, resulting in an enormous boom in the vocal synthesis business, which is now expanding worldwide.

This attracted Max's attention, and he determined that with his good friend Nugget, he would be the next famous virtual vocalist on the scene. Under the stage names of "SEIKKEI MAX" and "NAGETTO", the two go on a mission to become the next Hatsune Miku.

While he intends to have a good heart, his somewhat impulsive thinking and morals that fall dubious due to grifting off of current trends make him a controversial figure to some. He can, at times, prioritize money over his own safety. Several individuals have called him out for being money-hungry or a sellout, while others argue that he is "getting that bag" and should "be allowed to do whatever he wants."

Relations

Because they work in the voice synthesis industry, Max and Toire often oppose eachother, and he has come to view her more as an impediment to his work than as a fellow virtual vocalist.

  • Gyatsuka Rizzu - Competition

They have no notable relationship set in stone.

  • Nugget/Nagetto - Best friend & duet partner

These two have gone through it all and have contributed to their current level of popularity in the mainstream media. Regardless, Max and Nagetto frequently clash over small and often irrelevant issues.
