Previous affiliations and history.
Maru, originally under the name of "Maru Nayne", was made in 2018 as an OC based off of the likeness of Yokune Ruko and Macne Nana. She made her debut as a rig, or animated doll, in the paint.net application under the term "poser," which is similar to her concept of "2D MMD model." (In the words of twelve-year-old Tomi.) The aim had always been to make her into a virtual singer of sorts.
Later, in 2020, the idea of developing her a voicebank for UTAU, as well as giving her more personality traits and character development came up, however this idea was stashed until 2024, when she eventually got her own UTAU voice bank.
Personality and bio.
Marune is an alien who came to Earth as a young girl. Over the years, she has become a very a spunky and egocentric girl; she's loud, energetic, and often loves attention of all kinds. She is absolutely filled to the brim with energy at all times and isn't afraid of anything; however, all these traits make her rather impulsive and poorly quardenated, as she has trouble thinking her motivations through, which can get her into trouble with others very often. She has trouble apologising to people and owning up for her mistakes, she finds it embarrassing.
Her number 1 goal in life is to become a "super-duper popular idol! Just like Hannah Montanah, or something like that," -in the words of the wise Maru.
She is said to like Nijine Fuwa and Moene Nene because she thinks they're "the absolute coolest people I know, like, ever!" but dislikes Kasane Teto because of her catty personality.
The antena's on her head are to act as cat or bunny ears, helping to express her emotions; all the way back for distressed, forward and floppy when curious and relaxed, or down by the sides of her head when sad or embarresed. They are non-detatchable and are apart of her body.
Her item is a megaphone, and her favourite food is apple-flavoured cinnamonrolls.
