Origin: Marine is what's known as a selkie, a creature from Scottish-Irish folklore that is able to transform from sea lion to human by removing its fur coat. You can depict him as human, sea lion, or some kind of hybrid in-between

Appearance: Marine appears taller than he truly is. you would assume with his stocky build that he would be taller than 6 feet, however he is rather average at 5'8. He has a knack for floral button up shirts, piercings, and short shorts

Personality: Marine looks like the stoic or brooding type, however he is actually quite stupid. If he ever seems to be spacing out, he is more than likely thinking about men or fashion. Due to his selkie upbringing, he pronounces certain consonants odd, such as s becoming sh.

Background: Marine lives in an ocean town where he has lived his entire life (albeit mostly beneath the ocean waves with his selkie family). He makes a living by performing in gay bars as his drag alter-ego, Marina. When not in the water as a sea lion or selkie, he hides his fur coat in his drag closet, buried among gowns, jewelry, and heels
