Character Details

Height: 5'8" (173 cm)

Weight: 280 lbs (127 kg)

Liu Xuanzhuan is a jiangshi, an undead, vampire-esque creature. Most of her upper half is humanoid, though two spinning tops are embedded into her head and her legs are fused with a spinning top apparatus. Unlike jinagshi that hop to move, Liu rotates the bottom-most part of her point to move and can move incredibly fast. If she's standing in one spot, she will have to sway slightly to maintain balance. Little is known about the life she lived before turning into a jiangshi, but it is assumed her life was miserable due to how vengeful of a spirit she became. Liu is highly volatile and dangerous, requiring multiple talismans (fulu) to subdue her into a manageable state. She is bound to the perimeter of a Chinese restaurant, as her talismans confine her to serve customers. She cannot handle most of the food as it contains sticky rice, a natural deterrent to jiangshi, nor can she enter the bathrooms due to the presence of mirrors. She still has a bad temperament and will frequently use coarse language and be impolite, though she cannot bring harm to anyone in the restaurant. She can understand languages spoken to her but intentionally only responds and speaks in Mandarin Chinese. The restaurant has automatic mahjong tables and Liu will play with anyone who asks, on the condition that Hong Kong rules are used, a particularly difficult variant to play. Liu keeps most information about herself a secret and will not entertain questions into her past. She seems to like very little and harbors negative emotions to nearly everything around her. If she has any interests, she keeps them hidden.
