Lem the shapeshifter is a character of the Lozenge Tessellation (for more information, see: https://wik-wav.github.io/lozenge-tessellation/), a worldbuilding project by wik-wav. He is an unusual creature of many forms, with his appearance shifting to reflect his character.
He does not understand the mechanics of these transformations and is unaware of when they occur. The process is a slow, imperceptible one that he cannot consciously control.
The Japanese name 澪夢 translates to "dream of a wake," a reference to the ripples left behind by a boat. In Asaxi, a constructed language of the Lozenge Tessellation, he is called "Lem.ma".
His origins and original form remain unknown.
