Ji-Hye is Hye-Ji's twin sister, the two were only born minutes apart. The twins were raised strictly by devout Korean parents and even attended a private Catholic school from kindergarten through their senior year of high school. Ji-Hye watched Hye-Ji's rebellion and descent into substance use with disdain but stuck by her brother's side, as the only other option would be to stay under the totalitarian rule of their parents. When Hye-Ji's behavior finally hit a peak and he was threatened to be shipped off to a military academy or a troubled teen center, Hye-Ji formulated a plan to pack up all their things and travel the country under the guise of televangelist ministry. Ji-Hye naively followed her brother and trusted him over the other authority figures in their lives. Hye-Ji assumed the role of an energetic, charismatic Baptist preacher, and Ji-Hye became the music minister, later also becoming the voice in Hye-Ji's ear telling him what ailments those in the crowd have to bolster Hye-Ji's faith healing prowess. Ji-Hye and Hye-Ji work with a small team who all go by fake names and are quite careful of who they let in on the operation. Ji-Hye is just as excellent a liar as Hye-Ji, and keeps up all appearances in public. Ji-Hye dislikes how the fame has gone to Hye-Ji's head and how much of the plot he's lost along the way, but she can't bring herself to leave him on his own. The twin's bond is unbreakable and both would lay down their life for the other. Like Hye-Ji, she likes retro fashion and music.
