From a young age, Ayane was treated very poorly by those around her, as she suffered from undiagnosed mental disabilities causing her to exhibit odd behavior. The first person to show her kindness was a boy named Daikichi Ōuhana, this caused her to become obsessed with him, constantly fantasizing about him and becoming jealous of those close to him. She would anonymously leave notes in his locker every day. Shockingly, on his last day of high school, he confessed his feelings to Ayane, thus starting their relationship.
